The Plastiracy
Plastic is at once the most awe inspiring and ire producing material of our time. We became weirdly obsessed with plastics and the debate around its production and use while producing a video series about advanced recycling. Some we talked to believed plastic to be worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize, while others called it a crime against humanity. As with everything, the truth is likely somewhere in between, but where exactly is the mystery. We’re setting out to answer questions about plastic the way humans understand information - through stories. Stories of the interesting (and sometimes weird) folks who are part of the plastic macrocosm.

When Cops Become Robbers
Civil Asset Forfeiture (CAF) is a law enforcement tool adapted in the 1980s for use in the American War on Drugs. In essence, CAF allows law enforcement agents at all levels of government to seize property they suspect was used in or resulted from a crime without proof or due process of law. Victims of CAF must prove the innocence of their property at their own expense, flipping the American legal principle of innocent until proven guilty on its head. In this Mysterial and Feature Documentary, we bring this corruption into the sunlight of public discourse through the stories of those trying to end it.
